Equity Allies works with the partner organization to determine the duration and scope of consultation. During the consultation engagement, the partner organization has access to Equity Allies’ consulting, training, education, and advising.
Structure.
Equity Allies work with the partner organization in stages to:
- Discern areas in need of growth and cultural or operational shifts
- Collect and analyze data from employees, clients and/or existing policy documents
- Facilitate focus groups to assess the impact of policy and procedure shifts
- Recommend and support the implementation of shifts in policy and procedure
- Recommend and support the implementation of transformative values that can guide inclusive future policy and procedure
Process.
Consultants will observe the culture, climate and procedures of the partner organization and collect data. We will pay special attention to language, informal and formal cultural policies, and individual assets which promote healthy, equitable relationships and working environments. We may administer surveys or conduct interviews with staff and board members to understand strengths and weaknesses within the work culture, policies, or interpersonal relationships. This aspect of the partnership may last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
We collaborate with our partners to build community, capacity, skills, and awareness. Our consultants and facilitators will impart tools and strategies which will support partner growth, awareness, connection, and increase the organizations equitable values alignment.

Optional Add-ons.
Train-the-Trainer.We may work with your organization to identify an internal Trainers Cohort to be trained to facilitate our Unlearning Racism curriculum. Trainers meet regularly with our team until they have learned the Equity Allies curriculum plus facilitation and mediation skills. Once trained, they can provide Unlearning Racism workshops for incoming employees for the duration of the active curriculum license period.

Organizational Change Cohort.We may work with your organization to identify a Change Cohort- a group of employees to be trained as embedded guides, who will ensure that the organizational shifts and learning become integrated cultural knowledge.
